Refund and cancellation policy
Refund, cancellation, and withdrawal terms for paid consulting services from RebootMatrix Software Consulting.
This policy applies to paid programming consulting services arranged with RebootMatrix Software Consulting Co., Ltd. Several durations below follow common Taiwan distance-selling practice and are proposed, pending business confirmation; your signed contract may supersede them.
Distance-selling withdrawal (七日猶豫期)
Where applicable under the Consumer Protection Act for distance contracts, consumers may withdraw within seven days after receiving contract documentation, unless an exception applies (for example, services fully performed with your prior consent, or digital deliverables already supplied with your agreement).
Project deposits and cancellations
If a statement of work requires a deposit, cancellation by you more than fourteen business days before the scheduled start may qualify for a full deposit refund minus documented third-party costs already incurred. Cancellations within fourteen business days may forfeit the deposit or incur a partial charge reflecting reserved capacity, as specified in your contract.
Work in progress
Fees for consulting days or milestones already delivered are non-refundable. If we terminate for convenience before completion, we refund unused prepaid amounts for undelivered milestones.
No-shows and rescheduling
Missed meetings without twenty-four hours’ notice may be billed at the agreed hourly or daily rate. One reschedule per milestone is usually accommodated when requested promptly.
How to request a refund
Email info@rebootmatrix.digital with your name, contract reference, and reason for the request. We acknowledge within three business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within fourteen business days where practicable.
Disputes
We aim to resolve concerns directly. You may also pursue remedies available under Taiwanese consumer protection law where you qualify as a consumer.
