This notice is provided under the Personal Data Protection Act (個人資料保護法, PDPA) of Taiwan. It applies to visitors of rebootmatrix.digital regardless of display language.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we process the fields you enter: name, email address, optional phone number, and message text. If you use the optional phone field, we store it with your inquiry. A hidden honeypot field named website may be submitted; if populated by automated software, the submission may be discarded without reply.

We store your cookie consent choice in your browser’s localStorage under the key rebootmatrix-consent-preference. That value is not transmitted to our servers.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking on this site.

Purposes and legal bases

We use inquiry data solely to respond to your request, prepare a consulting proposal where appropriate, and maintain a record of business correspondence. Processing is based on your initiation of contact (PDPA Article 19 consent where required) and our legitimate interest in operating a professional services business.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last meaningful correspondence unless a longer period is required for tax, accounting, or dispute resolution under Taiwanese law. Consent preferences remain in your browser until you clear site data.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Inquiry messages are handled through our same-domain form endpoint (/api/inquiry) operated for rebootmatrix.digital. Data may be accessed by authorized staff and contracted processors who assist with email hosting, solely to handle your request.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access, correction, deletion, or cessation of processing of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions. Contact info@rebootmatrix.digital or call +886-4-0000-2211. You may lodge a complaint with the competent authority in Taiwan if you believe processing violates applicable law.

International transfers

If you contact us from outside Taiwan, your data may be processed in Taiwan where our office is located. We apply reasonable safeguards consistent with the PDPA.

Updates

We may update this notice to reflect legal or operational changes. The review date for this text is 26 October 2026.
